Wyoming Foundation Announces More Than $21,000 In Grants
The Wyoming Foundation, a geographic division of the Community Foundation for Greater Buffalo, announced awards totaling more than $21,000 to six Wyoming County nonprofit organizations for its 2023 grant cycle. Grants were awarded to programs in Wyoming County with a preference for requests that either increase job readiness for youth or connect residents to the County’s arts and cultural gems.
2023 Wyoming Foundation grant recipients include:
· Arts Council for Wyoming County – $3,360
· Eagle Free Library – $2,025
· Perry Rotary Foundation/Perry Literacy Center – $2,000
· Shake on the Lake – $5,000
· WNY Rural Area Health Education Center – $4,007
· Wyoming Free Circulating Library Association – $4,876
Established in 1974 by Dr. James MacCallum and now a division of the Community Foundation, the Wyoming Foundation makes the most of the generosity of its clients to benefit all Wyoming County residents. With more than $4.8 million under its care, the Wyoming Foundation’s endowment has distributed nearly $900,000 in grants to support a wide variety of cultural, educational, and human services organizations that specialize in enhancing the county’s arts and cultural institutions, improving literacy and strengthening the county’s cradle-to-career pipeline.
